Blue Sky

The kitchen window in our house in Hailey faces west.  From it I see the back yard full of trees and Della Mt. that is covered in brown.  Just above the brown hill?  Beautiful bright blue sky!  Every time I see it, I am amazed.

I purchased an embroidered picture at the thrift store.  It has bright blue fabric for the sky.  It looks just like the sky out my kitchen window.  The picture is of birch trees.  I just love it.

Breanna finished her Sumi ink class last night.  It has been a fun class.

David left to Baltimore this morning.

Yesterday we had our first dusting of snow.  It melted quickly.  It is cold this morning.

Bret still HATES having to learn Spanish.

I had a headache Monday and Tuesday night.

I have several sewing projects to do and don't want to do  any of them.  Hmm.

The Unpleasant News, the Good News, and the Best News

The good news is that I don't have a headache.

The best news is how much fun Breanna and I had painting ceramics again last night.  I finished my platter and she worked on a mixing bowl to use when she bakes.  It is super cute.  She just put many different things she likes inside of the bowl. She drew a Kirby, a snitch, a fairy, an I-pod, a tree, put some swirls around, some dots, and other stuff.  She will work on the out side next week.  Amazingly, after all the head butting we have done over the last few years; we like being together and doing fun things.  That makes me happy.

I feel that one of my purposes in life is to love people and help them to feel good about themselves.  I also feel that I should do as many creative things as I think I am interested in doing.  I need to not worry if I need to make this or that, or worry about a project having a use.  I just need to create and stop worrying about that.  That goes against my grain.

It is another beautiful fall day.  Fall has been very nice this year.  Lots of sun and warm days.
